This is your most important section. There is no need to describe yourself which isn’t available in you, and it doesn’t reflect your personality. So be precise and write at least 3 to 4 lines. These enough to explain your objectives for example:

I have a clear, logical mind with a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see things through to completion. I enjoy working on my own initiative or in a team. In short, I am reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and eager to learn.

  1. Personal Information:

Mention some basic information such as date of birth, nationality, address, Language proficiency and passport number. I think these are enough for your bio-data.

  1. Your education

Your highest degree on the top of the list and remaining degrees and awards later on. It is good practice to make your CV perfect. Some organizations ask your grades while interviewing, so it is better to place your grades.

  1. Experience if any:

Similarly, experience should be your curriculum vitae in descending order, your recent job on the top of the list and your previous experience later on. Keep in mind, putting designation, and your responsibilities will become advantageous for an employer to track your experience.

If you are applying for an academic job, then it is good to write your research area. Otherwise, there isn’t compulsory for job-related to other fields.

  • Also make sure your format is uniform: For example, if you use bullet points in one job description, use bullet points in all your job descriptions and make it all of the same size and do other adjustments such as justifying the text and keep on editing the document until you have the perfect resume or CV at your hand.
  • Resume font size: Most of the practices has followed by professionals said, Times New Roman with font size 12 is a good choice.
